This page publishes real numbers, not buying advice: 16 full months of search-interest data from our own Google Search Console (502,814 non-brand, query-attributed impressions, March 2025 – June 2026), NOAA's 1991–2020 climate normals for Charlotte, U.S. Census housing figures for Mecklenburg County, and AI-assistant query volumes — each figure with its source and retrieval date.

Search figures are query-attributed Google Search Console impressions for carolinapatiofurniture.com (brand terms excluded) — they describe what Charlotte researches, not our traffic. Full class table and methodology below.
We grouped every non-brand search query our site appeared for between March 2025 and June 2026 into seven disjoint classes. Of 502,814 query-attributed impressions, 270,902 (53.9%) fell into a named class. Proximity wins: “near me” searches are the largest class — ahead of every material.
| Search class | Impressions (16 mo) | Distinct queries |
|---|---|---|
| “Near me” searches | 76,490 | 1,207 |
| Poly / PVC / plastic | 49,357 | 666 |
| Charlotte-local terms | 45,729 | 598 |
| “Best place to buy” | 41,408 | 653 |
| Aluminum | 32,031 | 737 |
| Fabric & cushion research | 14,708 | 1,451 |
| Wicker & rattan | 11,179 | 516 |
How classes were assigned: each query counts once, in the first class it matches, in this fixed priority order — near me → best place to buy → fabric/cushions → aluminum → wicker/rattan → poly/PVC/plastic → Charlotte-local. So “aluminum patio furniture near me” counts as a near-me search, not an aluminum search — the material totals here are conservative.
Two research habits dominate everything else we appear for. Near-me searches are the single largest of our seven classes at 76,490 query-attributed impressions — 28% of all classed demand. Comparison-shopping — “best place to buy” (41,408) plus fabric/cushion comparison research like “outdura vs sunbrella” (14,708) — adds up to 56,116 impressions, or 20.7% of classed demand (56,116 of 270,902). Combined, proximity and comparison research account for roughly half of everything we’re found for, ahead of any single material class. Charlotte buyers ask where and which fabric before they’ve settled on what material.
| Comparison-intent component | Impressions (16 mo) |
|---|---|
| “Best place to buy” | 41,408 |
| Fabric & cushion comparison | 14,708 |
| Comparison-shopping total | 56,116 |
Denominator: 270,902 classed, query-attributed impressions over 16 months (Mar 2025 – Jun 2026). Near-me and comparison-shopping together are larger than any single material class in the full class table above.
Among material-specific searches, aluminum draws 32,031 query-attributed impressions against wicker/rattan’s 11,179 — a 2.9× gap. Per our fixed class-priority rule, “aluminum patio furniture near me” counts as near-me, not aluminum, so this reading of material intent is conservative, not inflated.
The same lean shows up in what people ask AI assistants. DataForSEO’s AI-assistant query-volume data (retrieved Jul 21, 2026) puts “aluminum patio furniture” at 472 monthly AI queries against “wicker patio furniture” at 163 — a matching ≈2.9× ratio. Local and comparison-style phrasing shows no measurable AI-assistant volume at all — we’re stating the zeroes rather than leaving them out.
| Signal | Aluminum | Wicker/rattan | Ratio |
|---|---|---|---|
| GSC query-attributed impressions (16 mo) | 32,031 | 11,179 | 2.9× |
| AI-assistant query volume (mo., US) | 472 | 163 | ≈2.9× |
AI-assistant volume shown is material-led only: “patio furniture near me,” “outdura vs sunbrella,” and “outdoor furniture charlotte nc” each return 0 measurable AI query volume in the same dataset.
Looking only at 2026’s within-year shape (the full 16-month curve is contaminated by our site’s own ranking-footprint growth and isn’t a demand-growth claim — see methodology below), March 2026 was the year’s single biggest month for non-brand search interest at 66,593 impressions — well ahead of January, February, April, May, and June. Charlotte’s outdoor buying season (NOAA normals above 60°F) doesn’t start until April, so research runs 2–3 months ahead of the season itself.
| Month (2026) | Non-brand impressions |
|---|---|
| January | 52,244 |
| February | 47,210 |
| March (peak) | 66,593 |
| April | 43,311 |
| May | 49,116 |
| June | 39,548 |
This chart shows within-2026 shape only. The full 16-month series rises from roughly 2.5k impressions in March 2025 to 66.6k in March 2026 — that reflects our site’s growing search footprint, not a claim about rising buyer demand.
NOAA’s 1991–2020 Climate Normals for Charlotte Douglas International Airport (station USW00013881) show a 38°F swing between the coldest month’s average (January, 42.1°F) and the warmest (July, 80.1°F). Only January’s normal low sits below freezing (31.8°F); normal lows run in the 30s from November through March — real frost-season storage-and-cover months no Florida sibling market has. Seven months, April through October, average above 60°F — the outdoor-living season our search data (above) is timed against.
| Month | Normal avg (°F) | Normal high (°F) | Normal low (°F) |

| August | 78.6 | 88.6 | 68.7 |
| September | 72.7 | 82.8 | 62.6 |
| October | 61.9 | 73.3 | 50.4 |
| November | 51.4 | 62.9 | 39.8 |
| December | 44.7 | 54.9 | 34.5 |
Only January’s normal low sits below freezing (31.8°F); normal lows run in the 30s from November through March (frost-season storage/cover framing). Seven months (Apr–Oct) carry average normals above 60°F.
U.S. Census Bureau 2019–2023 American Community Survey 5-year estimates for Mecklenburg County put the county at 491,721 total housing units, 55.5% owner-occupied, 55.6% single-family detached, and a $371,200 median owner-occupied home value. That’s the demographic backdrop behind the search patterns above — a market of owners in detached homes, the kind of household most likely to have a patio, deck, or porch to furnish.

Our own website’s contact-form archive is thin — 62 raw submissions since the site’s Feb 2025 launch. After removing ROM’s own form-health-monitor test entries (38), URL spam (5), launch-day dev tests (3), and non-customer solicitations (4, hand-reviewed), 12 genuine customer inquiries remain (Feb 2025 – Jul 2026, 17 months). That’s a small sample — color, not a data band — but it’s honest.
33 Google reviews, 5.0 average, every one 5 stars (retrieved Jul 21, 2026) — a trust signal, not a mined data set.
Google Search Console impressions for https://carolinapatiofurniture.com/, 16 full months (Mar 1, 2025 – Jun 30, 2026), query-attributed rows, brand excluded (business-name queries; generic “north/south carolina patio furniture” phrasings kept). 502,814 non-brand query-attributed impressions, bucketed into 7 disjoint classes by a fixed priority order (near me > best place to buy > fabric/cushions > aluminum > wicker/rattan > poly/PVC/plastic > Charlotte-local); 270,902 impressions (53.9%) fell into a named class. Query-attributed impressions undercount the property’s full impression total — GSC omits anonymized queries when the query dimension is requested.
62 raw Elementor-form submissions (Feb 13, 2025 – Jul 15, 2026). Drop chain: 38 ROM form-health-monitor test submissions → 5 URL spam → 19 classified → hand-review removed 7 more (3 launch-day test submissions + 4 non-customer solicitations) → 12 genuine customer inquiries kept.

No. Every search-interest number on this page is a query-attributed impression — how often our site appeared for a given search, not how many people clicked, called, or bought. We’re publishing this as search-interest data, not as a traffic or conversion report.
In our 16-month, 502,814-impression, non-brand GSC pull, “near me” searches were the single largest of seven disjoint classes at 76,490 impressions (28% of classed demand) — bigger than any material class or comparison-shopping class. Charlotte shoppers research by proximity first.
Aluminum draws 32,031 query-attributed impressions against wicker/rattan’s 11,179 — a 2.9× gap. DataForSEO’s AI-assistant query-volume data shows a near-identical ratio (472 aluminum AI queries/month vs. 163 wicker), while near-me and comparison-style phrasing shows 0 measurable AI query volume.
NOAA’s 1991–2020 normals show a real four-season climate here — only January’s normal low sits below freezing (31.8°F), and normal lows run in the 30s from November through March. Seven months (April–October) average above 60°F. Our own 2026 search data peaks in March, 2–3 months before that outdoor season opens — buyers are planning ahead of the weather, not reacting to it.
